well, angua ain't entering cuz she's organising. i said i was going to enter alone, but i wouldn't mind working with you . i talked to dbes, his internet is very slow so he's hardly on and then not on thud, only on msn. iron should be around somewhere, he was on yesterday. and i don't know about the bursar.

i shall talk to Iron, i think he may be interested, not sure about the bursar he isnt around much because of a job or something, also its no more than 4 in a group, you can have like 3 people or 2 in a team also.

Also yeah im kinda organising it so it would be a lil bit unfair me entering in a group

DBES!!! welcome back,haven't heard from you in a while.

OK, the group areas are created and I'll be showing Angua how to manage them. I presume the groups have decided who's with who; again, it's Angua's call.

Once you get access to your group area decide amongst yourselves how you want to write your stories - each person can contribute a line/word/paragraph/page/whatever or write it freestyle. However you want to do it. At the end of the day the competition is about which story is the best.

The time limit will be two weeks and that's about it.

Angua will tell you when to start and when things end. Otherwise, good luck and good writing!

well, if im not missing anything, it ratty, ook, DBES and iron vs. mr lipig and i. any voluntees to make the odds a bit more even?

well i'd love to help but a) ihave nooooo idea what's going on and b) i can't write all that good stories...i'm a BS artist not an author.

well, you see, we divide into groups, each group writes a story, and the best story wins - a [b]story competition[/b]. last time it was by poll, if i got it right, but this time there will be judges wholl decide who wins.
and btw, mr Lipwig went AWOL, so im with mr cake now.

Ok a final check,

group 1 is Bill D and Mrs cake (Mr Lipwig?) and Ponder!
group 2 is H.O.G. scarusto, iaa and hex
group 3 is Iron, DBES, ook and Ratty

we will be starting Monday 20th unless you hear any different.

Right, everything's ready for the comp, except the people that is...

Some of us are going to be away for a bit during the rest of August so I'm going to delay the start of the competition for about two weeks. We'll start it with the current teams around the first full week in September (around 2 weeks from now).

Sorry for that for those who were ready to go. System delays meant we had to wait till now and then lotsa people want to go on holiday in August for some reason (including me ) so we'll kick things off as soon as we have a clear week with most everyone back.

but it means that i will be near bath when the compo starts and miss almost the first week. which means that, sorry, ook, dbes, iron, i won't be able to enter with you. but i think i'm gonna enter alone nevertheless...

how could we? we don't know the criteria yet. we don't know if it's gonna have a first sentence or a theme or if it'll be discworld or not. we know nothing.
