I could not find any recent topic on my problems and I suppose these problems arose from the new version.
So here is my list of errors:
After the game server was restartet by Dewi this night (it is now Tuesday, 5th of June, 1:51 BST+1) I found that there was no sound played when moving pieces around. I looked up the settings menu and activated sound. I also changed the display style for the board. After that, the game window crashed, like picture "soundchange.png"[1] (I reproduced that error later). The main chat window worked, though, but I could not reconnect to the game. So I restartet my browser. I could log in but "Elerias" was still present, so I got the error message "Private messge from GameServ: goodname guest7930". I guess this should be the right response. I did not try to start a new game, though.
Trying to log on as "Elerias" via Forum login lead to a blank java window ("brokenjava.png"[1]), and a complete fail of my browser, had to kill both the browser and javavm. After that, it worked well.
But I could reproduce the first error by just trying to activate sound on the game board.
Maybe the error is on my machine, but maybe not.
My system is a Debian Etch, kernel version 2.6.18-7

Also added "nologon.png", containing the logon response while the first javavm was not killed,
and "MissingTroll.png", where a red dot resisted becoming a troll after the whole graphics were reloaded
(might be due to server restart, first time I noticed this). The troll "materialised" shortly after the shot was taken.
